Facts about Clarice Cliff talk about the English ceramic artist. She was born on 20 January 1899 and died on 23 October 1972.  She began her career as an apprentice potter. In 1922 until 1963, she was active as a ceramic artist. Cliff was appointed as the head of the factory artistic department due to her magnificent talent and skill. Cliff was born in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England. Actually in 1975, her family relocated from Eccleshall area to Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.  The house of the Cliff family was modest. It was located on Meir Street.

There were seven children in the family. Her mother Ann worked in washing to help the finance of the family. On the other hand, her father worked at local iron foundry in Tunstall. His name was Harry.

Cliff received different education from her siblings because she was sent to different schools. Therefore, she became an independent person. She was not raised by the standards of Stoke-on-Trent’s life style.
