The first practice is conducted by laying the dead body on a wooden platform. Then they people will cover it using branches and leaves.  It will be left in a wooden platform for several weeks until the bones are separated from the muscles and flesh. The aboriginal people will collect the bones and paint them in red ocre. The bones are used in various ways based on the culture.

Sometimes the burial practice also involves the second stage. After the people gather the bones, they have them placed inside a large hollow log. Or they can be left in a bush land.
